Subscriber Terms of Service

These Subscriber Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your subscription to The Print Toolbox, a monthly newsletter published by Printing TLDR (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and delivered through the Beehiiv email platform. By subscribing, you agree to these Terms.

The Print Toolbox is a free newsletter. No payment is required to subscribe or receive content.

1. Overview

The Print Toolbox is a monthly newsletter providing tools, workflows, resources, and AI workflow guides for large format and DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing professionals. It is published by Printing TLDR, operated by Kjell Karlsson from Köping, Sweden.

The Print Toolbox is separate from the Weekly Wide Format Brief, which is published on Substack. Each newsletter has its own subscription and is governed by the terms of its respective platform.

2. Subscription & Double Opt-In

How Subscription Works

To subscribe to The Print Toolbox, you must:

• Provide a valid email address through the signup form on printingtldr.tools/newsletter
• Click the confirmation link in the email sent to you by Beehiiv (double opt-in)

Your subscription is not active until you complete the confirmation step. If you do not click the confirmation link, you will not receive the newsletter.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe. The Print Toolbox is intended for printing industry professionals and is not directed at consumers or minors.

One Email Per Subscription

Each email address corresponds to one subscription. We do not create accounts, profiles, or membership tiers through The Print Toolbox. Your email address is the sole identifier for your subscription.

3. Newsletter Content

Each monthly edition of The Print Toolbox typically includes:

• Tool reviews and evaluations (RIP software, AI tools, quoting systems)
• Workflow automation setups and step-by-step guides
• Production resources (templates, calculators, checklists)
• AI workflow guides (file prep, customer service, prompting techniques)

Frequency

The Print Toolbox is published monthly. We reserve the right to adjust publishing frequency, skip editions, or pause publication without prior notice.

No Guarantees

While we aim to provide accurate, useful, and production-tested content, we do not guarantee specific outcomes from applying any tools, workflows, or recommendations included in the newsletter. All content is provided for informational purposes and reflects our professional experience and opinions.

4. Data Collection & Use

What We Collect

When you subscribe, we collect:

• Email address — required for newsletter delivery

We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, payment information, or any other personal data through the newsletter signup form.

How We Use Your Email

Your email address is used exclusively to:

• Deliver The Print Toolbox newsletter
• Send occasional service-related communications (e.g., schedule changes or critical updates about the newsletter itself)

Email Engagement Tracking

Beehiiv, our delivery platform, tracks standard email engagement metrics including opens and clicks. This data helps us understand which content is useful and improve future editions. You can limit tracking by disabling image loading in your email client.

5. Third-Party Platform (Beehiiv)

The Print Toolbox is delivered through Beehiiv, a third-party email newsletter platform. By subscribing, you acknowledge that:

• Your email address is stored on Beehiiv’s servers
• Beehiiv processes your data in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies
• Email delivery, confirmation, and unsubscribe functionality are managed by Beehiiv’s infrastructure

We have selected Beehiiv as a trusted platform, but we are not responsible for Beehiiv’s data handling practices, security incidents, or service availability beyond our reasonable control.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in The Print Toolbox — including text, graphics, templates, frameworks, and recommendations — is owned by Printing TLDR unless explicitly stated otherwise.

What You May Do

• Read, save, and reference newsletter content for your own professional use
• Apply workflows, templates, and recommendations in your print operations
• Share brief excerpts with attribution to Printing TLDR

What You May Not Do

• Republish, redistribute, or resell newsletter content in whole or in part
• Forward entire editions to non-subscribers as a regular practice
• Use newsletter content to create competing publications or products
• Remove or obscure Printing TLDR branding or attribution

7. Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe from The Print Toolbox at any time by:

• Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any edition
• Contacting us directly at hello@printingtldr.com

Unsubscribe requests are processed immediately by Beehiiv. After unsubscribing, you will no longer receive The Print Toolbox. Unsubscribing from The Print Toolbox does not affect any separate subscription to the Weekly Wide Format Brief on Substack, or any membership account on printingtldr.tools.

Data Deletion After Unsubscribing

When you unsubscribe, Beehiiv retains your email in a suppression list to prevent re-sending. If you want your email address fully removed from our records, contact us at hello@printingtldr.com and we will request deletion from Beehiiv within 30 days.

8. Disclaimers & Limitations

Content Disclaimer

The Print Toolbox provides professional insights and recommendations based on real production experience. However, all content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that any tool, workflow, or recommendation will produce specific results in your operation.

Third-Party Tools and Links

The newsletter may reference or link to third-party tools, software, and services. Printing TLDR is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party products. Inclusion in the newsletter does not constitute an endorsement unless explicitly stated. Some links may be affiliate links — this is always disclosed.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Printing TLDR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on newsletter content. Our total liability for any claim related to The Print Toolbox is limited to the amount you paid for the newsletter — which is zero, as it is free.

Delivery

We make reasonable efforts to deliver the newsletter on schedule, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free delivery. Email delivery depends on Beehiiv’s infrastructure and your email provider’s handling of incoming messages.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:

• Post the updated terms on this page
• Update the “Last Updated” date at the top
• Notify subscribers of material changes via the newsletter or email

Continued subscription after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with updated Terms, your remedy is to unsubscribe.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your subscription to The Print Toolbox shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sweden.

For subscribers located in the European Economic Area (EEA), nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under EU consumer protection or data protection regulations, including the GDPR.
